THE POODLE CLUB OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA is dedicated to the promotion of the Poodle breed, and the education of Poodle enthusiasts everywhere. Our Poodle club was established in 1939, and we are the oldest affiliate club of the POODLE CLUB OF AMERICA.
Our club meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month and the location varies. Please contact President, Catherine Gouse at 818-360-0164 for details each month. Visitors are always welcome.
At our program meetings, we discuss various topics relating to dogs in general and Poodles in particular. We have recently enjoyed grooming demonstrations, first aid and CPR demonstrations, veterinary discussions and many different forms of dog performance events such as Agility, Rally, and Doggie Dancing to name a few.
We also educate on breeding issues, rescue, conformation exhibiting and various activities relating to the American Kennel Club. We welcome suggestions of topics of interest for future meetings.
Poodle Rescue of Southern California is a volunteer organization dedicated to saving poodles and poodle mixes from homelessness and euthanasia.
We are always very busy at Poodle Rescue with oodles of poodles [and honorary poodles] of all shapes, sizes and colors.
If you are interested in adopting a rescued poodle please PHONE Madeline at 1 805 529 7405 between 8:00AM and 9:00PM California time or Email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask that an adoption application be emailed or faxed to you.
To view the dogs we currently have available, click on “Available for Adoption” at the top of the page, then scroll down to see photos and descriptions.
