>strong>Poodle Rescue of Southern California is a volunteer organization dedicated to saving poodles and poodle mixes from homelessness and euthanasia. Before they are adopted, all our Poodles are spayed or neutered, groomed, vaccinations are up to date, and obvious health concerns are addressed. We try to be very accurate as to age and any health or temperament concerns. Our adoption fees are usually between $350 for the Toys and Miniatures and $500 for the Standards. Senior dogs are less and young puppies may be slightly more.
We are always very busy at Poodle Rescue with oodles of poodles [and honorary poodles] of all shapes, sizes and colors.
PLEASE be sure to scroll to the bottom of this page to see ALL the dogs we have available for adoption. The newest dogs are on top.

KOBE and ROMEO are tiny Senior Toy Poodle males. ROMEO weighs 4 pounds and is 11 years old. KOBE WEIGHS 5 pounds and is 12 years old. They are adorable, happy, outgoing and housebroken. They love EVERYONE and get along with any other dogs. Toy Poodles can live 18-20 years, so these two have many good years left. They have always been together, and we would like to keep them together. KOBE takes inexpensive medication for a heart murmur. Romeo has a cataract in one eye. They have both just had their teeth cleaned. They get along with all other dogs, and have grown up with children. Their owner said things like, “I had ten good years with them” and “Now that my son is gone, I don’t have enough time for them.” Translation: “I have a new boyfriend who doesn’t like them.” My real regret was that she didn’t have her son with her so he would know what to do when she gets old and he doesn’t have time for her anymore.
LUKE is a large toy white male Poodle or Maltipoo, under two years old and weighs about 7 pounds. Luke is very cute and sweet with lots of personality and is housebroken. Luke is somewhat timid and afraid when he first meets strangers, but with someone who understands dogs and has some time to spend, he will make a wonderful companion.

Cha Cha is a miniature female, possibly a mix, who has special needs. She is about 18 months old and is a survivor of Distemper as a puppy. Due to the Distemper, she has a permanent wiggle to her rear end, hence the name CHA CHA, and her tail is continuously wagging. Unfortunately she also ended up with seizures as often happens after Distemper. She has been with us for about nine months, and she has had three seizures. They only last about two minutes and are so infrequent that we have not started her on any medication yet. Most seizures can be controlled almost completely with medication and the dogs can live a long and normal life. CHA CHA is happy and very playful. She loves EVERYONE and gets long with all other dogs. Adopted!!
Marley is a Miniature male Poodle who was just returned to us because his elderly owner passed away. He is housebroken, crate trained and in perfect health. He is 5-6 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. Marley gets along with dogs his own size or smaller, but is intimidated by larger dogs. Since he has never been with small children, we are looking for a home with adults or older kids.
