Poodle Rescue of Southern California is a volunteer organization dedicated to saving poodles and poodle mixes from homelessness and euthanasia.
We are always very busy at Poodle Rescue with oodles of poodles [and honorary poodles] of all shapes, sizes and colors.
Many of the dogs we foster, especially Standard Poodles and Standard Poodle mixes like Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are NOT posted on the website.
Most times Standards and Standard mixes are placed with those who have an adoption application on file before the dogs arrive in rescue.
We do our best to accept as many owner surrenders as possible so if for any reason you have a Poodle, a Goldendoodle or a Labradoodle that you can no longer care for please contact one of us:

For those of you who have asked, the photo on the right is of the rear leg/foot of one of the standards rescued from Fresno.
Located in Squaw Valley near Fresno, a woman was breeding and keeping her Standard Poodles in deplorable conditions. Like many others, these dogs were sold over the internet and in the paper as "home raised" healthy poodle puppies. To see for yourself what her dogs looked like please click the "Fresno Dogs" link, either here or at the left.
